Kim Kardashian makes Lewis Hamilton ‘a happier man’ ahead of British Grand Prix

Kim Kardashian has made her boyfriend Lewis Hamilton a “happier man”.

The Formula One driver gushed over the 45-year-old media personality and his racing team, Ferrari, after a fan asked him for the reason behind his apparent new joy with life.

The question came as Hamilton stood on stage with fellow drivers George Russell, 28, Lando Norris, 26, Oliver Bearman, 21, and Arvid Lindblad, 18, at Silverstone on Friday before the British Grand Prix three days later.

The Daily Mail reported the supporter asked: “You’ve been a happier man recently, why’s that? Could that be a girlfriend?”

Commentator David Croft, 56, joked about the moment Kardashian took 19-year-old Kimi Antonelli’s towel to wipe her face after he sprayed champagne on the winner’s podium after his victory at the Monaco Grand Prix on June 8.

Croft quipped: “You know why he’s asking? He just needs to know if Kimi needs two towels or not.”

Laughing, 41-year-old Hamilton, who finished second behind Antonelli in the race, said: “Yeah, that’s a good one.”

The nine-time British Grand Prix champion continued: “Once you spend a year with this team, Ferrari is the most iconic team of all time, and they’ve had a difficult period of time.

“It’s such an amazing team, and they’ve been so welcoming. The first year was obviously very tough, but to finally see the hard work we’ve been putting in, it’s finally got us back to where we want to be.”

Speaking about Kardashian, Hamilton said: “And of course, of course it’s Kim.”

The Kardashians star and the sportsman were first romantically linked earlier this year, and Kardashian is believed to be taking their romance seriously.

A source recently told People: “[Lewis is] just an easy-going guy with great energy. Her family likes him and Kim’s very into him.

“They are both busy with their careers, but see each other as much as possible.”

Kardashian and Hamilton are said to have “more than just a casual connection”, with the insider adding: “It takes a lot to capture Kim’s interest and she’s definitely intrigued”.

The pair enjoyed a trip to Japan together, and they are said to have spent a weekend at Estelle Manor in the Cotswolds, England, as well as visiting Paris, France, in early February.

They appeared together publicly at the 2026 Super Bowl on February 9, when they were shown on the stadium’s big screen during the game between the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks.

They were also spotted seeing a play together in New York.

Hamilton and Kardashian had previously known each other for several years.

A source told Us Weekly: “Because their relationship started with a friendship first, those closest to them believe this could be endgame for them both. They are both very committed to making things work no matter how long the distance is or how busy they are.”

The socialite has North, 12, Saint, 10, Chicago, 9, and Psalm, 6, with her 49-year-old ex-husband, rapper Kanye West, who now goes by the name Ye.

Meanwhile, Hamilton has previously been romantically linked to singer Nicole Scherzinger, 48, and actor Sofia Vergara, 53.
