After 11 straight rollovers, Lotto Powerball has finally been struck with a single ticket pocketing an eye-watering $28.2 million.

The winning ticket was sold at Four Square Netherby in Ashburton. The prize is made up of $28m from Powerball First Division and $200,000 from Lotto First Division.

The win makes them the 11th Powerball millionaire of 2026.

Four other tickets took home $200,000 with Lotto First Division.

Two were sold at Four Square Netherby in Ashburton, at New World Browns Bay, and Glen Innes Dairy and Lotto Outlet in Auckland.

Meanwhile, a lucky Strike player pocketed $200,000 with Strike Four. The winning ticket was sold at Park Night N Day in Timaru.

Tonight’s winning numbers were 1, 9, 36, 13, 11 and 4. The Bonus Ball was 24 and the Powerball was 9.

Weekend wins

Two lucky players bagged $200,000 each after striking Strike Four in Saturday night’s live draw.

The winning tickets were sold at Pak’nSave Westgate in Auckland and Four Square & Lotto Martina in Thames.

The King’s Birthday weekend will also be one to remember for seven Lotto players across the country, who each walked away with $142,857 after sharing Lotto First Division.

The winning tickets were sold at Borman Rd Superette in Hamilton, Four Square Awapuni in Palmerston North, New World Stokes Valley in Lower Hutt, Pak’nSave Riccarton in Christchurch, New World Timaru in Timaru, and on MyLotto to two Auckland players.

What to do if you win

Ticket holders can immediately see if they have won if they bought a ticket through the MyLotto app. Prizes of $1000 or less are automatically credited to the account.

For prizes exceeding $1000, winners must complete an online prize claim form.

Winners with physical tickets must still visit a Lotto retailer to claim their prize.

For the Powerball jackpot to be claimed, a ticket holder must get all six Lotto numbers correct as well as the Powerball number.
