The highest Lotto Powerball jackpot of 2024 has rolled over to Saturday after the staggering $20 million prize went unstruck.

But one lucky player from Thames is $1 million richer after winning Lotto First Division.

The winning ticket was sold at Martina Four Square and Lotto in Thames.

The Powerball jackpot was struck tonight and has rolled over to Saturday night, where the jackpot will be $23m.

Strike Four has also rolled over tonight and will be $500,000 on Saturday night.

While the jackpot was not won, 15 lucky players shared the Division 2 Lotto prize, each taking home $22,215.

Four lucky players also won Powerball second division, taking their total winnings to $28,071.

The winning Powerball second division tickets were sold at Woolworths Te Awamutu and New World Hillcrest in Hamilton, Ngongotahā Books Lotto & Posts in Rotorua, and Martina Four Square & Lotto in Thames.

Tonight’s numbers were: 9, 11, 16, 17, 29 and 30. The Bonus Ball was 25 and the Power Ball was 2.
