A tornado moves across Auckland near Greenmount, on Saturday morning.

Aucklanders were left with a major clean-up job on Saturday after a tornado wreaked havoc across parts of the city.

Roofs were uplifted, trees knocked down, while an ambulance had its windows smashed in as a woman was giving birth inside.

Stuff photographer Ricky Wilson ventured out to capture the damage.
