Serious crash injures motorcyclist, blocks Auckland road

A motorcyclist has been left with serious leg injuries after a crash in Auckland.

The accident happened about 6.30pm on Thursday on Glenfield Rd, near Roberts Rd, on the North Shore.

Police said a motorcycle and car collided, leaving the motorcyclist with leg injuries.

The northbound lane of Glenfield Rd was closed for a scene examination by the Serious Crash Unit.
