Whole Kids brand Smoothie Drops milk recalled over plastic scare

Whole Kids brand Smoothie Drops Berry, Banana and Coconut Milk are being recalled because they might contain plastic.
The recall was for all batches with a best before date of August 12, 2022. No other Whole Kids products were affected.
The snacks, made by Nourish Foods, were sold at Countdown, FreshChoice and SuperValue stores throughout the country.

Food Safety national food safety compliance manager Jenny Bishop said to be on the safe side, the recalled sachets should be returned to the retailer for a refund, or thrown out.
“We have received no reports of associated injury, but if you or a child in your care has consumed any of this product and have any concerns about your health, seek medical advice.”
