American singer songwriter Travis Scott has rescheduled his one and only show at Auckland’s Eden Park.

The 33-year-old was originally meant to perform on October 31, but Ticketmaster confirmed on Wednesday afternoon the concert had been rescheduled to October 30 due to “logistical issues”.

Ticket holders received an email hours after the show’s date was changed.

With less than a week until the concert, some fans were frustrated by the sudden change.

Ticket holder Jess Maynard, who will be travelling from Christchurch, said she had paid nearly $5000 all up after flight and accommodation changes.

“We have two children, we’ve had to get two extra nights childcare. My partner’s like, I just don't even want to go, like, the vibes are just off and now we're worried that the whole concert might be cancelled altogether,” Maynard said.

Another ticket holder said she was travelling from Wellington to Auckland for the concert.

“I’ve managed to change my flights, obviously I have to pay a bit more and extend where we were staying. Everyone’s had to pay a lot more to get that done. It’s super frustrating,” she said.

A Kiwi living in Australia told Stuff he had had his trip for the concert planned for a long time but now had to change flights and get more time off work.

“There are no flights from the Gold Coast to Auckland, so now I have to fly from Brisbane. The lowest fare with a stopover in Sydney is over $500 just to make it to the concert.”

Ticket holders reached out to Ticketmaster after becoming aware the concert had been rescheduled.

He said it was “ridiculous” that such a change could be made a week out from the show.

“People are already spending heaps to see Travis Scott, now they’re expected to shell out even more. And this is all happening at a time when money is tight for many,” he said.

Earlier, before the text and email confirmation of the change was sent out, the company added an information note under the event’s information online that said the concert had been rescheduled.

Many ticket holders reached out to Ticketmaster via social media for clarification, but were left even more confused when the company replied that no official change had been made.

For fans who cannot attend the new date, refunds requests can be submitted by October 29.
