Alec and Hilaria Baldwin’s awkward red carpet interview

Actor Alec Baldwin and his wife Hilaria Baldwin have been involved in an awkward exchange during a red carpet interview, in which Hilaria threatened to walk out.

The couple were being interviewed by Extra TV about their new reality TV series The Baldwins when Hilaria took issue with Alec interrupting.

“You're distracting me right now. Why? Why are you distracting me?“ she said.

Alec then responded, “I am just distracted by your beauty.”

“Oh my God you're annoying me, stop,“ she responded. “It's not cute, no. He's distracting me.”

Alec then winked at the camera before Hilaria threatened to leave the interview.

“I'm going to walk out of this interview,” she said.

The couple later addressed the interview in a video posted on Instagram

In the video, Hilaria said “that is called manterrupting”, adding “the whole point is that we interrupt each other all the time”.

The couple are then interrupted by one of their children, before Hilaria says “now that we have cleared all that up can we kiss”.

The couple met at a New York restaurant in 2011 and were married the following year.

They have seven children together.
