RuPaul's Werq the World tour set to storm NZ

RuPaul's Drag Race's Werq The World tour is coming to Auckland for one show only.

The show will be hosted by RuPaul's Drag Race judge Michelle Visage, and take place at ASB Showgrounds on February 13.

Queens from previous season Asia O'Hara, Eureka, Kameron Michaels, Detox, Sharon Needles, Kim Chi and Violet Chachki will all be present to deliver 'sickening performances.'

Promoter Brandon Voss says those attending can expect 'Over the top production numbers that will leave fans gagging.'

RuPaul's Drag Race has developed a cult-like following over the past decade.

Popular queen Shangela also spoke highly of the show, describing it as 'The most outrageous and talented collection of queens that have ever toured together.'

Werq The World tours first got underway in 2017. They run for most of the year, and feature a rotating cast of fan favourites.

RuPaul's Drag Race is available to watch in New Zealand on Netflix and TVNZ On Demand.
