A villa renovated by a Kiwi Olympian is back on the market.
Rower Eric Murray sold the three-bedroom home last year but now it has been listed for sale again.
Murray spent over a year transforming the tired 1912 property in Cambridge into a modern family home. He documented the project on his social media account.
The villa, which will be sold at auction on October 7, is described as a mix of “character and contemporary comforts”.
“This picturesque villa envelopes you with the warmth of her history and modern transformation the moment you enter via the automated gate,” a listing reads.
“Touches of history remain in the soaring ceilings, native timber floors, and the classic wrap around verandah.”
Murray won gold at both the 2012 London Olympics and the 2016 games in Rio de Janeiro.
CORRECTION: An earlier version of this story incorrectly said the property was on the market for a set price. It will be sold at auction on October 7. (Amended at 5.10pm on September 19)
