Pedestrian who died after being struck by car in Auckland's Te Atatū South named

The person who died after being hit by a car in West Auckland was 71-year-old Pepe Faleolo.
Faleolo, from Henderson, died after the incident in Te Atatū South near Te Atatū Rd and Elcoat Ave on Tuesday, police said.
'Police offer their sympathies to Mrs Faleolo's family at this difficult time,' detective senior sergeant Callum McNeill said.
'The Serious Crash Unit and Waitemata CIB continue to investigate and are seeking any witnesses to this incident.'
