Pedestrian hit by bus in Manners St, only a month since last incident

A man has been taken to hospital after being  hit by a bus on Manners St on Monday afternoon.

A man has been taken to  Wellington Regional Hospital in a serious condition after being hit by a bus on Manners St just before 4pm on Monday afternoon, at the upper end of the street, towards Willis St.

A police spokeswoman said the man appeared to be in a serious condition.

Wellington Free Ambulance spokeswoman Sarah Coulthard said paramedics attended the incident and the man was taken to hospital in a serious condition.

There have been several  accidents in Manners St involving pedestrians with one just two months ago when a  man was hit by a bus on October 10.
