Car crashes down bank in Coromandel, killing one

A person is dead after a vehicle crashed down a 10 metre bank on the Coromandel late on Monday night.
Emergency services were called to the incident at 11.17pm on Port Jackson Rd, just north of Colville.
One man died after a vehicle left Port Jackson Road on to rocks below, a police spokesperson said.
Another person received critical injuries while two other passengers were seriously injured.
The Serious Crash Unit is examining the scene.
The death has been referred to the Coroner.
