Two critically injured in crash on State Highway 6, Marlborough

Two critically injured people have been flown by rescue helicopter to Wellington Hospital after the car they were in rolled off the road on State Highway 6 in Marlborough.
Emergency services were called to the crash at Okaramio about 12.36pm on Saturday.
A police spokeswoman said the incident involved two adults and two 'younger people' in a single vehicle.
In a statement, police said two people had sustained critical injuries.
A St John spokeswoman said a rescue helicopter had taken the pair in critical condition to Wellington Hospital for further treatment.
Crews also treated one person with moderate injuries and one person with minor injuries, and took them to Blenheim's Wairau Hospital.
Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokesman Daniel Reilly said two fire crews were sent to the scene, one from Havelock and one from Renwick, about 12.35pm.
The crash happened about halfway between the two towns, he said.
Crews arrived to find one person trapped in a vehicle. Two people were later removed from the vehicle and handed over to St John for medical attention, he said.
The police serious crash unit had been notified and an investigation into the cause of the crash was under way.
