A Lotto player who bought their ticket in Whangārei is $1 million richer. But no one took home tonight's big Powerball prize.

A Lotto player who bought their ticket in Whangārei has won $1 million.

The winning ticket was sold at New World Regent. 

Powerball was not struck, so on Wednesday $10m will be up for grabs in Lotto Powerball. 

Meanwhile, no one took home the Strike Must Be Won jackpot of $1m. Instead, 163 people shared the lower prize of Strike Three, winning $6737 each.
