Powerball is set to jackpot again after no one won the $26 million prize on Wednesday.

Strike also went unwon. However, one player, from the Waikato, took home $1 million in First Division.

The person bought their ticket online.

The winning numbers were 40, 36, 28, 37, 6 and 21. The bonus ball was 17 and the Powerball was 8.

Ten people split the Second Division prize, scooping up $36,633 each.

In total, 365,472 ticket holders won $4,136,320 on Wednesday.

Wednesday’s huge $26m Powerball prize was up for grabs after no one won the $23 million Powerball prize last Saturday.

On Saturday August 1, Lotto players will be vying for an even bigger Powerball windfall of $30m.

A Strike prize of $500,000 will also be up for grabs.

Last Wednesday, an Auckland resident won $1 million in Lotto First Division. The player bought their ticket from the Ponsonby Paper Plus store.
