In six months, Lifewise had to turn away 58 per cent of the referrals they received because they were no housing options available. They don’t know where these people ended up, they could be anywhere.
“Some of them are 16, 17,” said team leader Aaron.
The organisation offers fully furnished flats to help young people transition into permanent homes of their own.
The K Rd Chronicles was made for Stuff by Magnetic Pictures, funded by NZ On Air.
