Police recover body after suspected drowning in Central Otago

A body has been recovered from Pinders Pond in Central Otago.

Divers recovered the body at about 9.25pm after police were alerted to a person missing in the water at about 7.35pm.

The pond was described by police as having murky water. It was located south of Roxburgh.
