Thursday, 23 April 2009
A police raid at the Hell's Angels headquarters in Auckland this morning has uncovered a number of items of interest, officers say.
Police were seen entering the address in suburban Mt Eden while residents of the fortressed gang pad watched on from the garden.
Police communications manager Noreen Hegarty said staff from the Auckland Metro Crime Operations Services had attended the Mt Eden address at 7.30 this morning.
A number of search warrants had been executed at the headquarters in connection with an ongoing investigation, she said.
'No arrests were made, but a number of items of interest were recovered from the address.'
