Covid-19: Where to get tested across New Zealand

Testing for Covid-19 is widely available across New Zealand, and anyone with cold or flu symptoms is urged to get a test.

You can find your closest testing centre through the Healthpoint website by selecting your region and typing in your address.

It is free to get a Covid test. You can call Healthline for advice on 0800 358 5453 – it’s a free, 24/7 service.

Symptoms of Covid-19 include a new or worsening cough, a fever of at least 38 degrees Celsius, shortness of breath, a sore throat, sneezing and a runny nose, and temporary loss of smell.

Additional symptoms may include diarrhoea, headaches, muscle pain, nausea and vomiting, and irritability and confusion.
