PM announces measures to tackle crime after nationwide protests

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern and Police Minister Chris Hipkins announced the measures at a post-Cabinet briefing.

Dairy owners are holding a nationwide protest on Monday after Janak Patel, a worker at the Rose Cottage Superette in Sandringham, cental Auckland, was fatally stabbed on Wednesday night.
