Do you like your morning news in a quick hit, but never lacking detail?

Well, we’ve got you covered - introducing Stuff’s new daily news podcast, Newsable, hosted by Imogen Wells and Emile Donovan.

Imogen loves to talk and thought what better way to make it a career than being a journalist? From her humble newsroom beginnings answering phones and serving coffee, to working as a political reporter at Parliament, to hosting Newsable, Imogen says her passion for the job still boils down to simply loving a good yarn. Emile is a Dunedin-born journalist and dog enthusiast whose work has featured in RNZ, Stuff, Newsroom, the BBC, and Business Insider, among others. He likes football, Italian food, snooker, and David Lynch. He was once blessed by the Dalai Lama.

Imogen and Emile will be talking everything from politics to sport to answering super-important questions like where to store your cucumbers.

Newsable has everything you need to know to start your day, with new episodes dropping every weekday from 6am.

And if you’re a keen news bean (like us), go ahead and sign up to Newsable’s daily newsletter too.
