The PM says he's introducing Steven Joyce to the traditional Budget Day pie.

Look out, Bill's at it again.

Despite copping a fearful lashing from some commentators for his 'mawkish, awkward attempt to re-package himself as something he's not', the PM is not to be deterred.

No, not even John Oliver's shouty mockery of his spaghetti pizza is enough to put him off.

He's doubled down on the low-brow cuisine schtick, this time opting to make a Facebook poll on his Budget Day tradition of eating a pie.

Eh, mince and cheese? No. Potato top! No. D'oh.

But two can play at this game, Billy boy.

We see your pie eater poll and raise you an alternative response poll.

1. Urgh, so cringe.

There goes Bill embarrassing himself with another attempted Dad joke/meme thing or whatever on the social media. Why must he keep trying to remake himself as the second coming of John Key?

2. I always say, I'll only vote for a man I could eat a pie with.

Bloody oath, Bill. Wait? Can I say that? Or does it count as blasphemy?

3. Has John Oliver been notified yet?

Probably, right? I mean, that political schemer Steven Joyce got someone to throw a dildo at him so that he could get on HBO. He's clearly in English's ear about getting more coverage to boost our tourism numbers.
