Kiingi Tūheitia says ‘strong message sent’
Saturday, 20 January 2024
Saturday will see Māori and non-Māori head to the Waikato in their thousands, to attend a hui ā motu, or national hui, to hold the coalition Government to account.
Called by Te Kiingitanga, or the Māori King movement, the hui will see whānau, hapū and iwi from across Aotearoa come together to discuss a range of issues, from the Treaty of Waitangi, to the environment, wellbeing and unity.
