State Highway 1 reopens after crash in Auckland

Auckland’s southern motorway was temporarily closed to northbound traffic after a crash in Bombay involving two vehicles.

Police said the crash was reported around 8.45am on Saturday morning and that nobody had been injured.

The highway northbound after the Nikau Rd overbridge was closed, NZ Transport Agency said, but it was reopened shortly after 10am.

Delays were expected as congestion eased, NZTA added.
