The numbers for Lotto’s $33 million jackpot - the largest so far in 2025 - have been drawn.

And, there was no big winner.

Saturday’s numbers were 9, 26, 35, 5, 7 and 4. The bonus ball was 13 and the Powerball 10.

It was still a lucky night for two Lotto players in Auckland and Westport, who split Division 1, taking home $500,000 each.

Twenty nine others scored $17,708 each with Lotto Division 2.

What would you do?

With no one winning the big $33m prize, we’re free to keep dreaming about what we might spend our fortune on should we win big on Wednesday night.

If the winner wishes to spend their prize money all in one go, let us suggest a prime property in Queenstown.

Cecil Peak Station is a 13,000-hectare high-country farm that’s visible across Lake Wakatipu. It comes with 23km of lake frontage and your own mountain directly across the lake from central Queenstown.

It has several late-1800s stone buildings, three homes, two cabins, as well as woolsheds, covered sheep yards and shearers' quarters.

Forget about your annoying high power bills, you’re a millionaire now and this farm has a small hydro-electric station that powers all of its buildings.

The winner could consider splashing out on what has become a bit of a luxury for Kiwi shoppers and reward themselves with a big butter prize.

At about $11 for a 500g block of Anchor butter, you could buy three million of them - more than enough to share with your nearest and dearest.

Every Lotto winner wants a new car, right? The priciest ride listed on Trade Me would barely make a dent in your new found fortune.

This rare racing green 2020 Brabham BT62 Carbon Fibre will only set you back $2.25m and could be the start of your luxury car collection.

Sir Jack Brabham was a three time F1 world champion who also founded the Brabham racing team that went on to win 35 races.

Even better news for a new winner? The seller in North Canterbury is more than happy for you to trade in your old vehicle.

If fashion is more your language, you could pick up an iconic Birkin bag or a 18ct gold Rolex Oyster watch - both due to be auctioned at Webb’s Auction House.

The Rolex has an estimated price of $55,000-$65,000, while the Hemes Cholocat Togo Birkin 35 is set to go for about $16,000. If you win, you should probably buy them both.

Don’t spend all your money

While it is free to dream, Lotto NZ has reminded players they don’t need to spend up a storm on lots of tickets for the big draw.

“Even if you buy multiple tickets for the same draw, your chances of winning will hardly increase at all. Because each new ticket has the same odds, there is no way that winning can average out in your favour over time.”

Recent big wins

The biggest Powerball win of the year so far was in April, when an Auckland player scored $23.3m.

In August, a punter in Christchurch won $20.25m.

The last big win was on September 13 when a Dunedin player pocketed $10m.
