Police seen outside Auckland City Mission

Police were seen by the Auckland City Mission on Friday morning, with multiple officers entering the building.

Chris McKeen, owner of McKeen Media, told Stuff that eight to 10 officers entered the building carrying a medical response backpack, while two officers were armed with pistols.

A man was seen being escorted out of the building by police.

A police spokesperson later told Stuff it was a mental health-related event.
