Car flipped, one person seriously injured after Christchurch crash

A car was left on its roof and firefighters had to pull one person free after a two-vehicle crash in Christchurch on Saturday morning.
The crash on Linwood Ave in the suburb of Woolston left one person with serious injuries.
Fire and Emergency NZ said they sent two crews to the scene at around 10.30am and extricated one person who was trapped in a car.
Hato Hone St John said they sent three ambulances, one rapid response unit, and one manager to the scene.
They assessed and treated one patient in a serious condition and two patients in a moderate condition who were all transported to Christchurch Hospital.
One patient in a minor condition was assessed at the scene.
