Massage therapist accused of sexual misconduct against 17 women

A massage therapist is accused of sexual misconduct against 17 women over a seven year period.

Neil Yardeni, the owner and operator of Therapeutic Massage Christchurch, is on trial in the Christchurch District Court.

The 55-year-old faces 23 charges of sexual misconduct towards 17 women - alleged offences that are said to have occurred between July 2015 and November 2022.

The trial, which began on Wednesday before Judge Jane Farish and a jury of six men and six women, is set down for four weeks.
