One dead, one seriously injured in Northland crash

One person died and another was seriously injured after a two-vehicle crash in Kerikeri on Saturday night.

Emergency services were called to the scene on Kerikeri Inlet Rd at about 8.30pm.

One person died a short time later.

Police say the Serious Crash Unit has examined the scene, and enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
