Police issue appeal after 22-year-old disappears from Dargaville

Police are appealing for sightings of a 22-year-old man who has been missing from Dargaville for a week.

Saxzin Steedman was last seen leaving Cranley St about 4pm on Tuesday, June 30.

Police said he is believed to have been wearing black pants, a black sweatshirt and red shoes when he was last seen.

Officers are asking anyone who may have seen Steedman in Dargaville or the surrounding area from about 3.30pm that day to come forward.

Residents are also being urged to check sheds, garages and backyards in case he has sought shelter.

Police said they were eager to reunite Steedman with his family, who are concerned for his safety.
