As hospitals and clinics continue to grapple with workforce shortages and demand for healthcare continues to grow, would you go overseas for to access healthcare?

With an ageing population in New Zealand, where more people live longer with complex health conditions, recruiters are travelling the world to convince more health professionals to make New Zealand home, in order to plug “dire” gaps in the workforce.

The reality is that almost everyone has been affected by healthcare shortages in some way, whether it’s waiting longer to see a specialist, struggling to find a GP or facing delays for treatment.
