PM Luxon says November election date ‘felt like a really good one’, Hipkins says it’s ‘relatively late’

Speaking from the National Party caucus retreat in Christchurch, Luxon revealed the election will be held Saturday, November 7.

On Wednesday, both major political parties are holding their first caucus meetings of the year.

Labour leader Chris Hipkins says his party is 'fired up and ready to go' for the general election.
