New music event Centre Court Sounds coming to Auckland

On the 25 of January 2025, the ASB Tennis Arena will come alive with the inaugural Centre Court Sounds, coinciding with Auckland Anniversary Weekend.

This new music event is set to bring a fresh energy to the classic kiwi summer entertainment scene.

Set to headline is LEISURE, a kiwi band formed in Muriwai almost 10 years ago.

LEISURE quickly caught attention both locally and internationally having just wrapped up a successful tour in the USA, they’ll bring their unique blend of sounds to Auckland.

Supporting them will be another kiwi band, Daily J, with more acts expected to be revealed as the event approaches.

Centre Court Sounds is designed to offer a premium experience, with general admission tickets or exclusive Private Suites.

The suites are aimed at those looking for a more upscale atmosphere, providing a space for socializing or corporate gatherings.

Each suite will feature curated food and drink options, along with private service, all while offering fantastic views of the stage.

“This event is meant to create a memorable experience for music lovers and to showcase the vibrant culture we have in New Zealand,” said a spokesperson for the event.

The event will follow the ASB classic, also being held at the ASB Tennis Arena, from December 30th 2024 to January 11, 2025.

The day promises not just great music but a lively atmosphere, at a fresh venue, appealing to locals and those looking to enjoy Auckland's summer vibes.

General Public sales start on October 31st.
