ASSIGNMENT: With every grocery item we grab from shop aisles, our accounts are drained of cash.

A draft Commerce Commission report into the market has found​ supermarket shoppers are forced to pay too much for not enough selection because of a lack of competition.

We can't live without food and other essentials, and we have to swallow our pride and accept the sometimes high prices these items are sold for. We have no other choice.
