Will you sit down with your kids and help them learn some of the basics, such as ngā tau (numbers) and ngā tae (colours)? (PS: If you are thinking of doing this, there are going to be some fun 'three strikes' trivia tests next week you can do with your kids. These come out at midday each day and you will find them on our dedicated quiz page.)

Perhaps you are planning to help others learn te reo Māori, and if so, what is it about more people understanding and speaking te reo Māori that is so important to you?

Or maybe you have some great family stories or history relating to te reo Māori that you'd like to share?

We're looking for submissions to be published in Stuff Nation. To share stories, photos, or videos of how your neighbourhood is staying connected during lockdown, hit the contribute button. App users email: stuffnation@stuff.co.nz
