Hīkoi mō Te Tiriti: In pictures

An estimated 42,000 people were in attendance at Tuesday's protest.

More than 35,000 people are estimated to have turned out in Wellington today to take part in the Hīkoi mō Te Tiriti. They overflowed Parliament’s grounds, filling the streets surrounding it. The hīkoi is a response to the introduction of the Treaty Principles Bill.
