A man accused of indecently assaulting women in Christchurch has been granted interim name suppression.
Police investigating several cases of alleged assault about Wigram and near Hagley Park in recent months arrested a person after a public appeal for information earlier this week, Detective Constable Louise Piper said.
A 30-year-old man was granted interim name suppression by the Christchurch District Court on Wednesday. He faces four charges of indecently assaulting females over the age of 16.
Police thanked everyone who helped following the appeal.
