Dangerous driving on Remutaka Hill Rd captured multiple times in one-minute dash cam video. (Video first published in December 2018)

A driver's dash cam footage has captured a hectic minute of dangerous driving on Remutaka Hill Rd, north of Wellington.

The footage, taken on Monday, shows a series of dangerous overtaking manoeuvres across double-yellow lines on the windy pass, between Featherston and Upper Hutt.

The sequence begins when a motorcyclist overtakes the filming driver, crossing the no-passing lines and narrowly avoiding an oncoming vehicle in the opposite lane.

The footage captured a series of dangerous passing manoeuvres on the road north of Wellington.

A short time later, two more motorcyclists, followed by a car, also overtake the driver while crossing the no-passing lines.

The two motorcyclists then overtake two more vehicles shortly before a blind corner.

The driver who took the footage, who does not want to be named, has submitted the video to police.
