Over 100 killed in strike on girls’ school, Iran says

At least 115 people were reportedly killed when a girls’ school was struck in the US-Israeli attack on Iran.
Dozens more were wounded, the local governor told Iranian state TV, IRIB, on Saturday (local time).
US Central Command spokesperson Captain Tim Hawkins said he was “aware of reports” that a girls’ school was struck and that officials were looking into them.
The local governor declared a day of public mourning in the province on Sunday.
In a video posted by IRIB at least eight body bags were on the floor of a building in the aftermath of the strike, CNN reports.
Another attack in the southern province of Lamerd, at least 18 civilians were killed in US and Israeli strikes.
The Islamic Republic New Agency reported that it hit a sports complex and residential areas.
A health official said most of those killed in Lamerd were children and that around 100 other people have been injured in the attacks, CNN reports.
