Watch: More photos and videos of Jeffrey Epstein’s private island released
Thursday, 4 December 2025
More photos and videos have been released of Jeffrey Epstein’s private island.
On Thursday morning, Democrats on the House Oversight Committee released hundreds of photos and videos taken by investigators on a property within the Virgin Islands.
The photos show bedrooms, lounges, a steam room with stacks of boxes which appear to contain towels or blankets, empty courtyards, artwork and views from the island.
One of the rooms had what looked like a dentist’s chair, with about 10 masks depicting men’s faces hanging on the walls. The artwork has been described by people on X as “creepy as f…”.
The original release of media contained about 15 photos and videos, however a second tranche was uploaded early afternoon, revealing more about the ‘dentist’ room.
A cupboard off the room contained machines used to sterilise medical equipment.
Also among the images was a framed photo of Epstein and former girlfriend Ghislane Maxwell - who is serving jail time for sexual offending - shaking hands with Pope John Paul II.
The images are from a property on Little St James Island - a tropical Caribbean spot sometimes referred to as ‘Little St Jeff’s’ or ‘Epstein Island’ - is where he would take and abuse his underage victims.
It is understood the photos and videos were captured after Epstein was charged with sex trafficking in 2019.
Congress is pressing the Trump administration to release all of its case files on the sex trafficking investigation into the late financier.
Representative Robert Garcia, the top Democrat on the oversight panel, said he was releasing the images “to ensure public transparency in our investigation and to help piece together the full picture of Epstein’s horrific crimes.”
“These new images are a disturbing look into the world of Jeffrey Epstein and his island.”
Garcia urged the president to “release all the files, now”.
“We won’t stop fighting until we deliver justice for the survivors.”
The Department of Justice has until mid-December to comply with legislation passed by Congress and signed by President Trump to publicly release many of its documents on Epstein.
