Person dies after Christchurch crash last weekend

One person has died days after two vehicles crashed in the Christchurch suburb of Templeton.

The crash was on the corner of Kirk Rd and West Coast Rd about 4.40pm last Sunday.

Two people were injured, one criticallyand this person died of their injuries on Tuesday.

Police said the death had been referred to the coroner and inquiries into the crash continued.

Meanwhile over the weekend, a person died in a single-vehicle crash near Geraldine about 9pm on Saturday. Another was taken to hospital with moderate injuries.

There were also injury crashes on the Lindis Pass about 2pm Saturday and in Dunedin in the early hours of Sunday.
