What's Global Road Safety Week all about?**

'The minimum is 1.5mm, but really it should be more than that to make sure that the tyres perform in all conditions.

'Tread on your tyre is all about dispersing water in wet conditions. The lower the tread, the more difficult it is… to disperse that water from the footprint the tyre has on the road.

'Make sure your brakes are in the best condition they can be, and your suspension - all those kinds of things.

'Having your vehicle serviced regularly is critically important for your safety. It's not just your driving that comes into play out there on the road, it's also your vehicle.

'Make sure your vehicle is as good as it can possibly be, to give yourself the best chance of staying out there on the road.'
