Alessandra Keighley for Stuff’s series of oral essays ‘The Treaty and Me’.

​Alessandra Keighley runs Access Radio Taranaki in New Plymouth.  

She sees herself as an advocate for the Treaty of Waitangi as a template for partnership. In her 60 second video essay as part of Stuff's Treaty and Me series, she says she has 'tremendous optimism' about the Treaty.

'I feel as though we are immensely blessed to have this amazing agreement that we all get to live here, we all belong here.'
